The FUMC Methodist Marchers want YOU to be on our Relay for Life team this year and help us as we're "Peace, Love & Hope – Groovin' for a Cure!" The relay will be May 19 & 20 at the DeKalb High School track. Pay your $10 registration fee and get a packet to start collecting donations for the American Cancer Society for much-needed research for more cures for cancer. You can get more information from Cathy Vadney, vadney3@mchsi.com or 925-0065; or Debbie Ingold, d.ingold@mchsi.com or 927-9823. The deadline to register is March 4th! You can sign up on line at http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?fr_id=38008 then, Relay Teams, Methodist Marchers, join the team and fill out the forms.
CHURCH CAMP TIME!
It's church camp time, and it promises to be a good summer! We are so excited to start getting families registered for this summer's season of camps and hope you will be a part of it! As we anticipate the joys and growth opportunities of the summer, we are broadening our horizons and offering online only registrations this year. Please know that we will work with each family to make this as positive an experience as possible.
Here is how to get your family registered this year:
1. Decide which camp you would like to attend.
• Brochures are available for help with selection and suggested dates are given as well.
2. Come to the church to register your family.
A full (yellow) sheet of instructions and information is available in the Gathering Area.
"DID YOU THINK TO PRAY?"
If ever we needed to know how to pray it's now!! Do you know how to pray effectively? Be a part of a class on prayer taught by Linda Johnson. It will meets at 6:15 PM Wednesdays and extending through March 21st. If you have questions please call Linda at 925-4090.

The School of Early Learning Preschool is registering students for the next school year. There are forms in the Gathering Area and questions can be directed to Kelly Oswalt at 925-2570 or koswalt@auburnfirstunited.com
Men's Lenten Breakfasts are coming soon. Each Friday in Lent, beginning on Feb 24 a hot breakfast is served promptly at 6:30a.m.
Ash Wednesday Service will be held on Wed, Feb 22 at 6:30p.m. Come for a time of worship, reflection and the placing of ashes on your forehead. This is the traditional start of Lent.
Ash Wednesday Meal. You are invited to a Wed Meal (BIG Meal) on Wed, Feb 22 from 5:45p.m. until 6:20p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. This free-will donation meal is a regular part of the BIG Wednesday ministry. Come for the meal and then join others in the Ash Wednesday service.
"Go Bananas!" You are invited to give a love offering on Sunday, Feb 26, at both services in support of the Africa Mission Team. Galen Eberhart, Lydia Jansen and Ted Jansen will travel in July to the Kakakumba Center where Rev. Ken Vance and Rev John Enright serve. Your support is needed. Checks can be written out to First UMC, write "Africa Team," in the memo line.
We have a variety of Sunday School Classes for all ages. Check with a staff member as to what class would work best for you.
